Swedish band Darkane, which has been promoting its latest studio work, Inhuman Spirits (2022), on a tour of Latin America, landed in Brazil for an exclusive show at La Iglesia, in São Paulo. The event, held on Wednesday (29), also featured the presence of Brazilian bands Hammurabi and Inherence.

Hammurabi took the stage at 7:55 pm to perform material from their two studio albums, The Extiction Root (2010) and Law (2018), and the EP Shelter of Blames (2008). Today formed by mentor Daniel Lugondi (vocals and guitar), Guilherme Goto (guitar), Gabriel Gaspar (bass) and Yuri Alexander (drums), the third generation of metal from Minas Gerais presented their thrash/death to the São Paulo audience. Songs such as Blessed By Hate, Prelude To Creation, Kings of Babylon, Highway To Death, Obliteration of Mankind were part of the show's repertoire. During the performance, Lugondi talked about having fulfilled a dream of sharing the stage with The Troops of Doom at a festival recently, because, for him, the old school phase of Sepultura, to which Jairo Guedz belonged, was a great inspiration for Hammurabi. The 45 minutes of consistent presentation were very pleasing and were more than enough to warm up the audience, which was already in much larger numbers.

Great night my friends! \0/
