Let the Sinos River Valley Ablaze marks Hammurabi's first visit to RS.
Unlike what usually happens, Hammurabi did not plan to release a live album, but relied on a strong structure during its visit to Novo Hamburgo (RS). This is how “Let The Sinos River Valley Ablaze” came about, now available on all streaming platforms. The material features the entire show by the band from Minas Gerais, which closed the first day of the second edition of the Ablaze Metal Fest, held on March 25th in Novo Hamburgo (RS). On the occasion, in addition to guitarist, vocalist and founder Daniel Lugondi, there were Guilherme Goto (guitar), Gabriel Kaspar (bass) and Yuri Alexander (drums). Held over two days, the Ablaze Metal Fest, the largest festival in the South region, also featured names such as The Troops of Doom, Ratos de Porão, Distraught, Test, Vazio and others.
“Live albums are a reality in the market and usually result in epic performances. Obviously, this is the type of format that requires the most planning, exhaustive rehearsals and a high-level, synchronized and determined team to achieve great results”, observes Daniel Lugondi. “In their due proportions, considering the national underground, any of these releases require an enormous force, and the unexpected can be many. In our case, nothing was planned, but since we put on a great performance, we now have the release of 'Let The Sinos River Valley Ablaze'”, he adds.
